Surprise!



On Friday, we had a surprise visit from our friend Ethan who moved in February.  It was great to have him back!  He was even able to stay and listen to our state presentations.

Of course we had to get silly!




Science Fair

On Wednesday, we checked out the 4th grade Science Fair.  We questioned and explored many wonderful experiments.

Community Field Trip

We stopped at Governors Park where we spent quality time having fun with our friends :)

We stopped at the library where we explored the different sections, and well as learned about the history of Bellefonte.

Our second stop was Weis Market.  We were able to learn about and see many roles in the community in action.

Here we learned about what a pharmacist does.

A seafood manager...

Produce manager....

A butcher....

Deli manager....
A baker...
We were able to see how the goods are transported and delivered.
We even checked out the freezer! Brrrrrr.


Community Field Trip!

Our first stop was the courthouse, where we met Judge Kistler.  He told us about the important job of a judge in the community.

We acted out a court case, where Hope took the witness stand :)
                                       

We discussed the case in the jury room.

Liam even acted as the judge, gavel, robe and all!



Court is adjourned!


We learned about the role of a parole officer.




Goodbye Mrs. Amy!

Our school counselor Mrs. Amy will be leaving us next school year :(  She will be moving back to Pittsburgh to help establish a brand new elementary school.  We will miss you!
