Goodbye Ladybugs!

We watched our ladybugs develop through different stages of their lifecycle including larvae, pupae, and finally adult ladybugs.  We even observed interesting behaviors including eating each other and mating.  We fed them raisins in order to keep them satisfied before their release.  But it came to the time where we had to let them go.  We wrote goodbye messages in our journals, read them aloud,  and set them free out in the back near the garden.
