Field Day!

On Friday, we had our annual Field Day!  What an amazing day!  The kids really worked hard as a team, encouraged each other, and had fun :)  I am so proud of my second graders!  I will miss them so much!!!

Go Liam!!

All of the children wrote WONDERFUL stories for the Young Author's Contest back in February.  Liam's story received an Honorable Mention! He was able to be awarded for his spectacular work at the awards ceremony at the high school.  We are so proud of you Liam!!!!!

Ice Cream Lounge

On Thursday, we celebrated our 120th star for excellent cafeteria behavior with an Ice Cream Lounge!  Thankfully the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy our lunches outside.  I am so proud of them for all their hard work!!!!

Orchestra

On Friday, we learned all about brass, string, and woodwind instruments while listening to a local orchestra.  Not only did we learn how these instruments work and how amazing they sound- I know many students now have a hobby they want to pursue in the future :)
