Valentine's Day
We had a wonderful day together on Friday during our Valentine's Day celebration! Everyday I am so amazed at how kind, sweet, and loving this class is. I am a very lucky teacher!
Reading Counts Assembly
On Friday, we had our first Reading Counts assembly to award students who have reached milestones with their RC points. There will be another assembly at the end of the year. Students in our class have worked hard and continue to set goals for themselves :) Thank you to the families who were able to attend!
Catapults
During our science writing unit, the students engaged in an experiment with catapults. Students wrote lab report exploring whether a ping pong ball or cotton ball would go farther when being flung by a catapult. We had a lot of fun and wrote wonderful reports!
