Dr. Seuss Week!

In celebration of Dr. Seuss, we had a very exciting Read Across America Week with lots of "seussational" activities.

Mrs. Blair, our school counselor, read Oh, The Places You'll Go! and discussed all the possibilities for the future.

Mrs. Benner came in to read some Seuss favorites.  Thank you Mrs. Benner!

Dress for the Future Day- sorry for the coats, but the early dismissal made things a little rushed :P

Mrs. Haagen and Emma relaxing in their vacation attire.

We wish we were on the beach!

Fitness Friday!  Look at our muscles!

Mr.  Hawkins also came in and read One Cent, Two Cents, Old Cents, New Cents to the kiddos.  A perfect read aloud for the closure of our money unit.

Thank you Mr,  Hawkins!

Mrs. O lead our closing end-of -week assembly.

Mrs. Carroll lead Dr. Seuss fitness exercises from A to Z.

We also had Dr. Seuss trivia, where the kids challenged Mr. Besch.  When he answered incorrectly, he chose to eat some very interesting green food, or had to wear them!

Yikes!

The students at Marion Walker had such a fun week, and surpassed their reading goals!  I am so proud of my students!
